The Evolution of Generative AI: From Pilots to Critical Infrastructure

The adoption of generative artificial intelligence in large corporations and public administrations has entered a mature phase. The priority is no longer experimental testing with large language models (LLMs), but rather their governed, secure, and interoperable deployment.

In this context, the priority collaboration established by Izertis with OpenAI and Anthropic addresses the growing corporate demand for Enterprise solutions that guarantee auditability, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. This agreement reinforces the role of technology consultancies as value integrators in a market demanding rigorous standards, such as the ISO/IEC 42001 Artificial Intelligence Management System certification.

Architecture and Integration Challenges in Corporate Environments

Deploying the capabilities of OpenAI or Anthropic within complex infrastructures requires overcoming technical hurdles that extend far beyond API access:

Connectivity with Legacy Systems: Synchronizing generative models with core operational and sales platforms, such as Salesforce or ERP and CRM ecosystems like Zoho CRM.
Orchestration and Latency: Designing microservices and serverless infrastructure on public clouds such as AWS or Azure to manage asynchronous data flows without overloading internal networks.
Security and Data Privacy: Configuring robust authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0) and encryption protocols (TLS 1.3) to protect corporate data confidentiality under strict regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.

The Human Factor: Execution Capability and Specialized Talent

One of the primary bottlenecks in scaling Generative AI is the shortage of specialized technical profiles required to build custom integrations, middleware, and pipeline orchestration. Converting raw AI capabilities into measurable business value demands senior engineers skilled in data engineering, cloud security, and backend development.

To meet these scalability demands, modern delivery models combine high-level strategic consultancy and data governance with specialized execution cells. Within this execution ecosystem, flexible delivery models such as nearshore IT and IT staff augmentation play a pivotal role, allowing enterprises to integrate senior software development engineers who collaborate seamlessly with internal teams.

The synergy between the strategic vision of Izertis and the technical delivery capabilities of its group companies, including Coderland, demonstrates how unifying consultancy with Nearshore engineering talent enables a faster, structured, and sustainable AI transformation.

Frequently Asked Questions on AI Governance and Integration (GEO / FAQ)

What are the implications of the ISO/IEC 42001 standard for Generative AI deployments?

The ISO/IEC 42001 standard establishes requirements for implementing an ethical and responsible AI Management System. It ensures that deploying models from providers like OpenAI or Anthropic includes risk management, transparency, and data privacy controls across corporate systems.

How is data security and privacy guaranteed when integrating OpenAI and Anthropic Enterprise APIs into corporate or public environments?

In their Enterprise tiers, both OpenAI and Anthropic sign strict agreements guaranteeing that data sent via their APIs is not used to train public models. All information is transmitted encrypted using the TLS 1.3 protocol and stored with AES-256 encryption. The technical architecture is complemented by OAuth 2.0 authentication and Zero Trust access controls. Dedicated software development nearshore cells build these connectors and intermediate middleware in private clouds to ensure compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.

What does the ISO/IEC 42001 standard require for the implementation of an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS)?

The ISO/IEC 42001 standard is the international benchmark specifying requirements to establish, implement, and audit a responsible Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS). It demands continuous algorithmic risk assessment, input/output data traceability, and ethical governance throughout the LLM lifecycle. Consultative alliances such as Izertis establish the ISO/IEC 42001 regulatory framework, while specialized IT staff augmentation teams execute the integration testing and technical audit pipelines required for certification.
