
Panama, April 27 - Digital transformation and software development company CODERLAND, a subsidiary of DOMINION (DOM.MC), has won a new contract with Telefónica México (TEF.MC) to provide application support to its customers.
The contract is for three years and is worth $1.5 million.
A 10-person dedicated Coderland team in Latin America has already begun work for the Spanish multinational.
The technologies used for the development of the work includes Java, NodeJs, Kotlin, React, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
This is the second project that Telefónica Mexico has contracted Coderland in recent weeks. Recently, it announced that the company had chosen it for the management and maintenance of its user charging platform in the country.
"We are very proud that a company of the caliber of Telefónica has once again bet on Coderland to reinforce its digital transformation in a market as important as the Mexican one," explained its CEO, Jorge Rubia, from the company's offices in Panama.
In Mexico, Telefónica operates under the Movistar brand. It has more than 27 million customers and is one of the leading operators in the country, with coverage in more than 93,000 municipalities.
CODERLAND is a company founded three years ago to execute and accelerate digital transformation projects in the United States and Latin America. It currently operates in nine countries in Latin America, with clients in the United States and Europe.
The company employs 175 professionals specializing in developing customized digital tools, process automation, and measurement and improvement through data analysis.
For the next 18 months, the company has set itself the goal of hiring a team of 300 new professionals in the digital environment, working offshore and remotely.
CODERLAND belongs to the company DOMINION, an integrated services and projects company with a presence in over 35 countries, more than 1,000 customers, and a team of more than 10,000 people worldwide. It has an annual turnover of 1,000 million euros and has been listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange since April 2016.
